FLiP Countdown

Commissioned by BOA (Büro für offensive Aleatorik), the FLiP countdown was a large-format countdown clock installed at the Financial Life Park venue near Vienna's main railway station, counting down to a specific date in October.
The implementation uses a Teensy 2.0 microcontroller paired with a real-time clock module for accuracy. The display is built from WS2812 (Neopixel) LED strips arranged in 7-segment configurations — a choice that keeps wiring simple while allowing flexible colour options.
