An installation spanning 2.5 × 8 metres, installed in the entrance area of a geriatrics centre in Vienna. The "grass" is made from fiber optics — it moves and changes colour in real time based on data from a weather station on the building's roof.
Temperature and wind speed are collected continuously and translated into the kinetic behaviour of the grass and the readings on an LED matrix display. The result is a slow, atmospheric connection between the built interior and the weather outside.
